It was a successful end to Great Big Green Week for Brampton! Our litter picking group gained two new recruits, bringing the membership up to 32.
The ten hoops were put to good use last Sunday, and because the group now has all the right equipment, we can collect litter safely. Of course, we’d much prefer that there wasn’t that much litter in the first place.
Our thanks to Cumbria Action for Sustainability for funding some of the equipment, to GBGW for supporting our community, and a huge thank you to all of our volunteers.
